Good things out of Nazareth, by Derek O'Rourke

Nazareth is palled

in the smoke and heat haze
of post-technology. The news,
word of mouth
is something good
is coming. Not sure if its personal
or a general salvation
but it is related
to something and that something
is itself related
to the word.The news travels slowly
because people can't reveal it
as first words.
And where there is a crash and burn
between untranscended beings
there is where the news stops,
where saying "Good Morning"
through the ashes of Nazareth
is only adding vapour to the ghost.
