Murray and the Tiger, by Derek O'Rourke

Murray met a Tiger 

and bravely said Hi grr
and what can I do for you? 

The Tiger said to Murray
"Well, if you're not in a hurry,
you can join me for something to chew."

Said Murray "Why not,
so what have you got,
perhaps you can give me a clue.?

The Tiger he smiled
said "Well you know that I'm wild,
and you, well, you are just you."

Murray he thought,
and in his mind he was caught,
by an idea out of the blue.

"I'd love to, dear Tiger,
but it's time i said bye grr
so took to his heels and flew.

But the Tiger caught Murray
who in no time was curry
and served up as hot vindaloo.
