Mask poem, by Linda Crook

Here is the mask singer
What to be today
Ned Kelly in his helmet
Venetian satin,pearls
Noh maskand kabuki
3layer harlequin
Mexican flouro wrestler
New Guinea mask of feathers
Heavy metal guitarist mask
Cardboard mask with string tethers
I think I saw the moon less pockmarked and maroon
As with a mask of clouds
She was festooned
